We did it easy and are both in our 60’s. Remembering though basically everywhere in Goreme is hilly. The staff are amazing. They are genuine and really want to make your stay the best it could be. Unal, the host, is so obliging, helpful and informative. The home cooked breakfast is plentiful and very tasty. It has its staples each morning but then there is a different hot cooked dish every day. Also plenty of food, if what they give you is not enough, you just ask for more, not a problem. Side note we never had to ask for more. The room and facilities exceeded our expectations. We wanted to stay in a cave hotel and that is exactly what we did. Loved it. It has the best shower in any accommodation that we have ever stayed in. The wifi works perfectly as well. There are 2 terraces you can use. One looks over the township and the other (up higher) is perfect for watching the sunset or the balloons early in the morning. My final comment, spoil yourself and stay here.”
