It’s history, the building is very old and is charming. The breakfast was excellent the staff at breakfast and bar staff were very efficient and a big asset to the place.

Really nice pub. Lovely staff. Amazing location. Walk behind the pub and through the fields along the coast - the most beautiful hike we have done in a long time.

I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was. Small double bed on a metal frame that meant you could really feel it if your partner turned over and shower was a bit dodgy, but small complaints!

Our room was the large attic type family room. It was clean and tidy but it could do with a good overhaul. Paint and fill the holes in the wall. The room had tea and coffee and water and biscuits which I thought was a good touch as don’t normally have water.

When I pulled out the spare blanket from the wardrobe shelf, there was a dirty pair if underpants behind it. In fairness, many cleaners could have missed this.
