The Tea House was lovely, clean, spacious, well equipped and in a good residential location, only a few hundred yards from the beach. We loved Broadstairs, a pretty seaside town that is not spoilt although probably packed in summer. We would visit the Tea House again and would recommend.

Only one problem was that the shower in the second bathroom was either cold or tepid with little pressure, so we were unable to use it.

We loved the friendly staff and location and our room was made up every day with fresh towels, and toiletries and tea,coffee and biscuits replenished. The room was really comfortable and the hotel only a few minutes walk to metro.

The location was perfect for 2 nights stay for the marathon. Single room with bathroom had everything I needed, comfy bed, kettle, tv and own bathroom with a good shower.

Great location and views (we loved the gorgeous sunset). Warm. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking a couple of meals there. Good sized rooms.

Unable to book a table for two earlier than ten to eight for food due to a big booking.. approx 16 in the restaurant in total. The rooms on the front and side of hotel would benefit from additional noise isolation due to cobble street outside.

The food was terrible and the rooms are in desperate need of updating The staff forgot about our food order and when if finally came it was very substandard and one meal of the three was only a third eaten The rooms are old and in need of total refurbishment Mould in the bathrooms/broken furniture/no TV remote/poor paint and very old carpets We complained and the management gave us a reduction but we were very disappointed with our stay
