I booked this very last minute as joining my cycling chums on 'the coast to coast. Warm welcome and kindness towards my cycling chum who wasnt stayiong there as we both arrived we and frozen to the bone. Great drying facilities with a boiler room which I really needed! Great breakfast and coffee and lots of friendly help and chat. There is also a garage for string and charging bikes. Really lovely guest house. I woudl stay again!

All staff were extremely approachable and kind. Loved the view as well as the central location of the hotel -- this is definitely the most important aspect of staying there. The gym along with the pool are a clear advantage. Breakfast was fresh and warm each time throughout my stay.

The carpets were stained which made me regret not bringing my slippers... Also the bathroom requires repairs and updates. The wi-fi connection was a let-down as it worked on an on-and-of basis despite my room being rather in the centre of the building and on the 2nd floor.

If you are looking for an exceptionally quiet, lovely and comfortable apartment like in a village in the middle of London, this is the right place for you. Public transport Shops, small restaurants, everything is close by and then the city is open to you

Really location up the beachy head end of Eastbourne, good sea view and nice park and restaurant in front of hotel. Staff great, breakfast was good, and for 3 of us the family room was great (1 adult, 1 baby, one 9 year old).

Super location in town centre, right opposite Shakespeare’s schoolroom and very close to New Place and his birthplace etc.

A complimentary breakfast was provided, but it was quite basic and could have been presented better. Cereals, coffee, croissants etc had to be carried from small stairwell area to the main dining room next door.
