“We booked this hotel as a bit of a splurge having read the excellent reviews and the inclusion of a private outdoor onsen as part of the room. Rooms were beautifully appointed (modern, high end, traditional) with everything you could need. Loved the delineation of outside shoes and inside footwear and the provision of yukata's for dining. The food is traditional Japanese and we enjoyed the hotel dinner one night which was 8 courses of incredibly unique and delicious dishes (with a significant proportion of seafood.)
The service was impeccable, friendly and polite, you are escorted to breakfast and dinner to your dedicated eating space. Lounge access is open for tea, coffee and juice throughout the day. But truly the best part was, after a day of cycling around the lakes or hiking, to be able to sink into 41 degree water in your own private onsen... bliss!”

Staff was polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast at the Vietnamese restaurant downstairs is reasonably priced at ¥1500. Good to have a 7-11 convenience store right below the hotel.
The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is good.”

People say that it is a business Hotel but really the compact rooms were fine as travellers or workers alike are out most of the day anyway.
3 minutes from Nagaoka Station was good for us and also Taxi ranks close by or at Hotel door.”

“Modern hotel in Matsumoto approximately 5 minutes walk from the train station and an easy walk to Matsumoto Castle. Service was lovely and very helpful. Inclusions at the hotel were great with happy hour drink included in the evening and goodies for female guests plus toiletries as needed. The rooms themselves were tiny but incredibly well laid out, modern, super clean and fine for a two night stay (with minimal luggage). I also commend the hotel for the recommendation to do a day trip to Kamikochi in the Alpine region. It was a highlight of our trip to Japan!”
