“This route inn is situated in an area with traditional Japanese spas, and I was pleasantly surprised to smell Sulfur in the Onsen(public bath), something that you don't experience at other route inn hotels. The hotel has 3 separate parking lots nearby, and car users do not need to worry about parking their cars.
Breakfast was good and my room was quiet.”
“Room is a little small which is the norm. However, this hotel has everything we need and more such as the welcome donuts and drinks from vending machine and self serve amenities at lobby. Love all these additional touches which deserve 5 stars! Keep it up!”

“The room was spacious for Japan standards, we stayed for 4 nights and it was very comfortable for our family of 3. We booked the twin room with sofa bed. Free parking and evening snacks/coffee/tea was wonderful. I also brought my child to the onsen and we had fun.”
“Great hotel with perfect balance between traditional and modern. The staff and service were out of this world amazing and so were the meals (breakfast and dinner) which were both included. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Great location, very close to station and bus stop to the snow monkeys. The arrival drink and the complementary Sake bar at night made it even more special. Thanks so much to the team at Hotel Tsubakino for the amazing stay!”

“This is a very convenient property for car users because it is next to the expressway IC and provides free parking. The hotel also has a good breakfast spread and some good restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel.”
