“Convenient to train and bus station, making it easy to get to all the attractions, and at the same time the place is not overly crowded.”

“Good location, 10min walk from train station, 5mins walk to castle, 10mins walk to shops along Nakamachi and Nawate streets. 7/11 5mins walk. We stayed on the top floor, our room was clean, quiet, had a window that could open, aircon, comfy bed, good shower, mini fridge. View of mountains was lovely from window. Staff were friendly. Microwave and drinks vending machine on ground floor. 300Y washing machines. Hotel is new. We didn’t choose the breakfast option.”
“Modern and beautiful”
“Well run hotel, which was within a 15 minute walk from the train station. Very clean. Staff helpful, and very polite.
Breakfast was very nice, either Western or Japanese, and both quality food.
A roof top terrace, with about 6-8 plastic chairs, but great views of Mt Fuji. Not used to its full potential.
Shuttle bus to the station in the morning, just needed to put your name down and be a few minutes early.
Washing machine and drier were also handy.
Walking distance to the Lake, and infact most of the town.
There is also a Haostay coffee/cafe not far and a kitchen for more substantial meals. One of the best coffees I had in Japan!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were just amazing, the buffet was wonderful for the whole family and the Onsen was fantastic. The location was perfect, right next to the lake and walking distance to most things.
It’s important to remember that the hotel is nearly 100 years old so you are staying in a beautiful piece of Japanese heritage not a modern hotel.”
