  • The Hope Anchor Review score: 10

“We stayed midweek, from Tuesday to Friday, in the "Hope and Anchor." in Rye. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and friendly during our stay and gave us a great welcome. . The hotel had traditional styled bedrooms. Our room was clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, tv etc. It had great views of Rye and the surrounding country side. It was cleaned on a daily basis. Our breakfast was extremely good, with a choice of a cooked breakfast, or a continental style breakfast. The food was locally sourced. The location of the hotel is ideal for a walk around Rye. I would recommend a stay in this beautiful hotel and definitely a return visit.”
