I can honestly say that there was nothing which we found to be irritating or a problem .

The breakfast was very comprehensive with the food being very good and as much as you wanted , and the view from the restaurant is great as well . We spent a fair amount of time in our room people watching and enjoying the views of the beach and sea which is always changing .

The room was extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was excellent, served by briliantly trained staff and extremely well presented with attention to detail in the preparation and ingredients. Very high hygiene standards too with butter and juices covered for example and immaculate white tablecloths etc. Impressive !

The beds were soft and felt in need of replacement.

Breakfast was tasty with a range of options and the service was excellent from very friendly staff. The bathroom was well sized and the room was comfortable, though small. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and even let us leave our bags on the day of departure.

The only thing is to have more lighting outside the hotel at night as I had difficulty finding my pass key to get in after the entrance door was closed. It was only due to the security man who came out to see if I needed assistance and admitted me into the building.

The hotel is quaint and old-fashioned in a positive way, as I almost expected to see Miss Marple there. The free parking in the nearby streets was a bonus. From the moment that I arrived, I had a warm welcome from the reception, who were very helpful. The room and its facilities were just as i required as I was attending a conference in the town. The breakfast was well-presented and tasty - I recommend the mushroom omelette. It was a pleasure to eat in the conservatory, and I must point out that the waiters were very professional. The room was very clean and it is to the credit of the housekeeping team, who are often overlooked.

We loved it all but prefer the are of Eastbourne close to what was once the Wish Tower. As children we spent our holidays with our cousins in Eastbourne so this was a trip down memory Lane!

Online check in was straight forward! The staff were so kind. One of our party had to go to A and E and the staff made sure they were back before closing the kitchen. We loved the waitress service at breakfast. The view from the room was lovely. We watched people fishing on the beach from our window.

Had a very long wait to be served our breakfast. We watched everyone else come in after us and get their breakfast before us.
