“This very old wonderful Inn is at the heart of Rye. All of the staff, reception, porters, waiting/bar staff, cleaners were so polite and professional.
Very easy to get lost in the nest of corridors and stairways however the helpful staff are never far away to point you in the right direction.
The Mermaid is ideally placed for exploring lovely Rye.”

We received a really warm welcome from the staff who were all really friendly and helpful .The room was nice with a comfortable bed,nice bathroom and nice view of the river .The restaurant served a fantastic breakfast which was one of the best we have had and the bar was nice for a drink in the evening.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.”
