As a cabin crew, I'm used to travel and go to different hôtels around the world 20 nights per months.. From 1 to 5 stars, so far this one is one of the best I went to. Staff are respectful and kind, making you feel peaceful and at home. They immediately do the task when you ask so you don't have to wait to have the onsen at a higher temperature for exemple. In 1 min it's done and someone is coming. This is very appreciable. They come to pick you up at the bus station. You have a welcoming drink of your choice. Place is amazing, in the forest. You really feel like a peaceful atmosphère. There are everything you need in the room like dyson hairdryer, scrunchie, face cream and cleaning... Plus Staff are so dedicated that pyjamas and shoes for outside and inside are also choose in your size. (Depending female and male). I like the detail-oriented and this hôtel is very good in it. The appartement is comfy and cosy. 4 stars hôtel so far.

Everything about this property was superb. The service of the staff was impeccable. One day a young waiting ran after me as I was walking to the bus stop to confirm my dinner menu. I am a chef’s nightmare with many food restrictions and they had to get it right.I told him I would be late for the bus and he actually walked me to the bus stop. The food was excellent and exquisitely set out. The room was spacious and the private Onsen overlooking the beautiful garden was the best. There is also an outdoor onsen that can be booked for private use. Hakone can be very crowded but here one felt “away from the madding crowd”as it is small and intimate. Every detail is taken care of and it is the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding in a beautiful setting. I even managed to see the elusive Mount Fuji on two occasions when it was not covered by cloud. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to come again

Staff --> Excellent and very helpful. One of the ladies at the checkout (apologies forgot her name), she was really good and spoke good English. Breakfast --> We took breakfast included in the package, and that was the highlight, the vegetable juice (best ever), corn soup, the hot spring eggs, the sausages and so on all were so tasty. Onsen --> Felt refreshed, rejuvenated, and relaxed. I highly recommend it. Others --> Shuttle bus use it if required. We also tried the massage, and it was the best, highly recommend.

We had the most relaxing stay here, the room was so cosy yet spacious and we were able to book the onsen for private use after dinner for an hour which was a great experience. The dinner and breakfast was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious- it was a perfect sample of local foods and dishes we wouldn't have been able to order on our own in a restaurant. You will leave very full! This was such a special experience and would definitely recommend anyone staying in hakone stays here!

Absolutely stunning property with spacious rooms, relaxing view on bamboo groves and onset bath in the room. Breakfast and dinner was delicious, and if you have a chance to book teppanyaki then do it - it is so worth it! The staff was also the nicest we met during our travels in Japan, very nice but not overbearing. A 5-star experience! I was initially unsure about having the sink in the room but it is spacious and zoned enough to not bother.

The onsen is really relaxing, especially at night. We went in the winter so it felt really good to be in the hot water. We stayed in the Japanese style room which was quite spatious. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Bonus: In the onsen building there is a small retro game room, manga room and massage chair space.

One of our best stays in Japan. Loved the staff, the ambiance, and our own private onsen. The room was quite spacious and the Tatami area was also a nice addition to relax in. Definitely recommended. Dinner course meal and breakfast were also divine. Will stay for longer next time.

A really nice hotel in Hakone situated very close to the train station. There is a bus stop for all Hakone wonders right in front of the hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable. Staff speaks decent English. The breakfast is OK. We were most impressed by the onsen - really nice and relaxing! We also had a great massage in the spa center - the masseur deserves a special commendation! She was a real professional and performed her duties with smile and enthusiasm.
