The Japanese style room was great. Spacious and with a great view. The outdoor onsens were perfect. There were free massage chairs to use before/after onsen. Nice dinner and breakfast.

When we first checked-in, the reception staff who explained everything to us did so in English (very well too!). It was really helpful and we appreciated it! After constantly travelling and walking the past few days, staying here was like paradise! The onsen was easily accessible despite being in another building and the path to it was sheltered from the rain. I was surprised at all the massage chairs they had available too! I wanted to sit in one and use it for hours on end (and I could’ve if I had stayed longer than one night!)

Great variaty of hot spring. I actually prefer the public one not the private room. The room is big and cosy, with Japanese bath clothes provided, nice for photos. The highlight is the free massage chair and cartoon books, make it really easy for family with young kids. Some guests mentioned about the distance from station, we didn't see it as a problem. We can take bus or free shuttle to Hotel Okada then walk through the internal pass way to this hotel. For luggage, you can also have paid luggage delivery services, makes it really handy.

The rooms are huge, clean, and comfy. The onsen experience is really good too, as with the meals provided. Great value for money. Small suggestion for improvement: perhaps some information on the available transport options could be sent to guests in advance. There are basically 2 options: (1) take Shuttle A (¥200/person) > alight at Hotel Okada > walk the sheltered path on the 8th floor to Hakonenomori, (2) take Bus K (fare is distance-based, covered under the Hakone Free Pass) > alight at Oku Yumoto Iriguchi > walk ~5min to Hotel Okada > walk the sheltered path on the 8th floor to Hakonenomori.

The area is very beautiful. We hade dinner at the hotels restaurant and it vas very good.
