What makes the Kawaguchiko Hotel a stand out for me was the staff. From check-in to check-out nothing was a problem. When the ladies in the dining room learned that one of us had allergies to egg, dairy and wheat, they went above and beyond to make sure she had the perfect breakfast. And the breakfasts are next level amazing! The courtesy shuttle to and from the station is an added bonus.

The property had the perfect view of Lake Kawaguchiko and was easily reachable by bus from the main station. Staff was accommodating and the spa/onsens were great and relaxing. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was exceptional. Would definitely visit again. The rooms were traditional which is exactly what we were looking for. The beds and especially pillows were comfortable.

    - the view was amazing, despite not getting a Fuji-view room, the garden view was very relaxing as well; - the breakfast was varied and well-organized; - the staff was extremely helpful; - the traditional room was spacious and super-comfortable; - the onsen was clean and quiet. etc. etc... Wish we could stay longer than 1 day (due to the pre-planned itinerary).

This guesthouse location is amazing, nice views of the lake and our room has both views of the mountain and the lake. It was an experience to stay in a Japanese style room and guesthouse. The breakfast was very good and everything was clean. Location was quiet and beautiful. The onsen was nice to relax in after a day exploring the area. Room very spacious

The private onsens were very welcome as no other onsens allow you to relax as a couple, and there were icecreams after! We used the spa for massages each which was also very relaxing. The shuttle bus was a really useful way of getting to and from the station.

We stayed here to walk Mount Fuji in a day and to explore the lakes. The staff helped us to book an early taxi in the morning. Great dinner and breakfast buffet, no cheap but worth it! We enjoyed the onsen and the massage chairs. We had a huge room which was great to relax in. Great to have free drinks and snacks in reception
