“A great stopover on our Coast to Coast walk. Access was easy and the bath very welcome! Our room was at the top of the building so you did need to watch your head!
Breakfast was in the attached cafe and was one of the best on our trip.
Would definitely stay again!”

“We liked the quiet, calm atmosphere, the mismatched Victorian furniture and original contemporary art. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable, even if a little small as we are tall people. There was a good choice for breakfast and I particularly liked the homemade yoghurt with seeds and honey!”

“Ideal location with good access from the M6. We stayed as part of a walking holiday overnight.
The pub itself was much like a local and the food was good pub food.
The downside was the room which didn't quite live up to expectation! It was clean however the bathroom was more of a large cupboard....the Web designer and photographer did an exceptional job!
Would we stay again....probably if necessarily but would look for an alternative first.”
