There was a plumbing problem with our toilet which was very noisy during the night. This was rectified the next day.

Tebay ia a lovely little village and the pub was excellent. The chalets are very comfortable with a view of the hills. We enjoyed our food, peri peri chicken, steak, haddock and roast dinner. The bar was friendly and we enjoyed watching the football in there. There is a space to park right by the chalet so it's very easy to unload. My husband also loved "Dave's Shed"!

The bathroom was very small and not as appeared from the pictures

Ideal location with good access from the M6. We stayed as part of a walking holiday overnight. The pub itself was much like a local and the food was good pub food. The downside was the room which didn't quite live up to expectation! It was clean however the bathroom was more of a large cupboard....the Web designer and photographer did an exceptional job! Would we stay again....probably if necessarily but would look for an alternative first.

Bacon rasher v small (first day was just the medallion) and overcooked. In bathroom a hook for clothes or robe would have been useful plus a rail to hang damp towels

Quite limited choice on menu and continental but after 2 days realised people were requesting egg cooking not on menu but wasnt advertised.

We managed to get ourselves locked out without the key pad access code! Make sure you have it if you intend to stay out late.....

The Cross Keys are well situated near the Westmorland TBay service station on the M6 for folk travelling north or south for an overnight stay. The accommodation was comfortable and adequate and the breakfast generous in this historic pub situated between the Lake District and North West Yorkshire.

Bathroom could do with a refresh as the door wouldn't shut or lock properly but it was clean and presentable.

Lovely location and very friendly staff, we arrived and were shown to our room which was a cottage style room. Was very spacious with a comfy bed and a pull out sofa bed.

The bathroom although spacious wasn't that easy to shower in. The man with the filler needs to patch up under window sills etc.

Wonderful views, easy to find, good parking, quiet location and very friendly bar staff. The food is good standard pub grub. We would certainly stay here again. Very new double glazing is a great upgrade.

Nothing in particular. Little things like having to ask for jam for toast at breakfast. Not really a deal breaker. Breakfast was adequate.

Perfect for a stopover between Scotland and South Wales. Just off motorway. Comfortable chalet room with plenty of space. Rob was very friendly and helpful when we arrived.

We stayed in room 8 and there was a sky light window with NO blind/curtain to cover it! So despite there being curtains over the main door/window the room was still full of daylight when the sun rose at 4:30am! I mentioned this to a young barmaid when we arrived, as we like a dark room when sleeping, and she said she’ll see what she could do but nothing more was said to us. And that was it. Ridiculous when you have booked to sleep somewhere and there are no coverings over the windows. There was also towels and pillows provided for 3 people only, even though our booking was for 4 people. And no hooks anywhere! Especially needed in the bathroom. We were also told that check out on the Sunday was at 11am but breakfast was between 8-9 but you had to be there by 8:30 as the kitchen closed then. Early for a Sunday esp when check out is so late. It didn’t matter to us on this occasion as we were awake at the crack of dawn anyway! But annoying if you have to get up earlier when check out is a lot later.

Lovely location and nice garden for the children to play in. Lovely food, although we had to wait a long time for it to arrive both at dinner and breakfast.

I can't really complain for the price I paid, but if I have to, this would be it: - sofa beds were not very comfortable but that was already expected; - it would have been nicer if there were more places to hang my belongings on the bathroom.

Affordable, very easy to get to from the motorway, polite staff, nice pub on the premises.
