Deborah is the warmest host. She goes out of her way to ensure you have a great stay. There should be more innkeepers like her! The area is quiet but close to restaurants. Our room was clean, spacious, and we particularly loved sitting and reading in the cosy chairs overlooking the hill. Bathroom had great water pressure. Walking distance to Hillsborough. Felt like being home.

Excellent hosts Lorraine and Simon.Very welcoming and helpful. Location very good just a short walk into town and 5/10 min walk to the lake. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice.Even accommodated my fussy husband. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable room. Highly recommended mend.

Everything was comfortable. The beds were like home. Everything was clean. Great location with only a 5 min walk to town. Or slightly longer walk to catch the boat around the lake. The owners were lovely too.

We would have liked a bigger room but for 2 nights it was fine. Shower cubicle a bit too small.

The breakfast was beautifully cooked. The overnight oats were delicious. Lorraine is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. For my husband's birthday, he received a card and gift. Also we were given a lovely piece of cake from a local bakery. It is located very near to the town centre so it's easy to access. We had no trouble parking close by when we were there.

Nothing really, apart from the fact that we could only stay 2 nights - I would have liked to have stayed a lot longer. Anyone who knows Keswick will appreciated that trying to park a car is very difficult, so give yourself a bit more time to find a space. As it turned out, I eventually found a space on the corner of Dorchester House!

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were treated like royalty. Simon & Lorraine could not have been more helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the service was exceptional. Lorraine learned it was my birthday on the second day of our visit and I found a birthday card and present on our breakfast table. That was such a kind and thoughtful gesture going way beyond my expectations. Lorraine is a real star!

Great location - close to town but quiet. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Really nice breakfast, lots of choice and plenty of food. Hosts were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The bathroom had an amazing view of the mountains.

The room I picked had a separate (private) bathroom across the hall. I did worry about disturbing other guests as I walked up and down to access it, but otherwise no complaints whatsoever!

Very attentive hosts that made me feel extremely welcome, good range of breakfast options, and ideal distance from the town centre. I really enjoyed my stay!

The breakfast is very delicious. You can choose what you would like to eat from the four types of breakfast offered by the House. The location is great; it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the lakeside. The owners are amiable! We have a great time there.
