Good breakfast and dinner. Nice setting (the garden looked like it would be a nice spot to relax on a hot day). The bed (room 2) was huge and super comfortable (seriously thick mattress that was just perfect - not springy, not hard).

Simple quick entry, friendly staff, good value for money. Complete with kitchen with a working fridge, kettle, stove and microwave.

Some of the furniture was scratched or rusty and there were no night lights near the bed, only a large lamp in the corner. No rack or shelf to put soap and shampoo in the shower.

The location was good for us, it was nice to have the varied breakfast. The afternoon tea and cakes were also a nice touch.

Our room smelt of damp and the hotel needs to be refurbished. There was also a lot of noise every night. We were unlucky to be there at the same time as a whole hockey team….they ate everything!

When I requested if I could stay in the common area a few hours after check out while I waited for my flight, he refused and said that i had to pay him to stay there later in the day. I told him that every hostel throughout Latin America that I have stayed in has allowed me to wait in the common area if I was waiting for a bus or a flight later in the day and he got aggressive accused me of lying. I understand that this is the policy of the business but it would have been nice if he was less aggressive in explaining that to me, prick. The rest of the staff were friendly though.
