Great location (walking to historic center in 10 minutes, and a few minutes to bus and ferry terminal, therefore great for a stopover between Montevideo and Buenos Aires). Very cozy hostel with attentive staff. Two breakfast options, the smaller for 4 USD including three medialunas, coffee, cereals and orange juice was perfect for us. Possibility to deposit the baggage between checkout and departure.

The shared shower seemed rather small but we didn't use it anyway. The window architecture allowed mosquitoes to come in even when the window was closed.

Great location in Ciudad Vieja, so the Old Town and neighbouring barrios were in walking distance. Friendly and talkative staff at reception, who were quick to help. Coffee and tea available. Our room had waterfront view.

The bed was filthy (stained covers and mattress, and hair all over). Towels, although probably washed, had large and dark stains (ar least three towels). In spite of a sign telling that towels on the floor would be replaced, we actively had to approach the reception staff because otherwise the room wouldn't have been cleaned and the towels wouldn't have been replaced.

Great location if you want to stay in the old town. The neighbourhood looks a bit dodgy at night, but I haven't had any issues. The room is quit big and very clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast and nice staff.

Nice room, comfortable beds, good AirCon, Breakfast had a good-selection, fruit salad, different breads and pastries, also scrambled eggs. Location was perfect in Pocitos near the Ramvla and Villa Biarritz park.
