Unique place to stay...my 3 children loved it and want to go back. Eating breakfast in such a grand Hall was brilliant fun. Rooms were clean, if a little on the slightly tired side of things. Bathroom was modern and immaculate. Would stay again because of the fun of staying in a Castle!

Stopped as an overnight guest with my wife and kids, late at night and we were greeted by a very polite chap. He showed us to our house, provided us with everything we needed and offered us a tour in the morning. Despite it being Christmas time this man was going to give us a tour of the Castle! I'd highly recommend! Modern, warm houses fit for all families. Welcoming staff and very clean!

Lovely spacious accommodation conveniently situated for the family event we were attending. The rooms are beautifully furnished, light and airy, allowing everyone plenty of space including a toddler and two dogs. The beds were very comfortable as were the lounge furniture.

Everything you would need for a stay was supplied. Close to the coop. Would of suited having our two kids but enjoyed the child free break. Absolutely delightful. Loved the soaps. Especially the lime one. Only took us 30 minutes to drive to lake (loch) Ullswater.
