It was all lovely - from staff, restaurant/bar, leisure club & spa. The scenery from the room was great! It was for a birthday, and they gave us a champagne in the room and sweet decorations. We had a relaxing stay.

Kilbeggan is a historic, medieval town that can easily be explored on foot. The local residents are welcoming and delightful. You can meet some of them at Mag's and Frankie's pub, off the square. The Kilbeggan Race Course is nearby, as is the Distillery. There was a car and tractor show, during the Bank Holiday we visited. Kilbeggan is a lively and lovely community!
