The house was beautiful, interesting and quirky. James has created the perfect hideaway. My room was immaculate, it felt like stepping back in time while also having all the mod cons needed. James was also good enough to get up early and make me a fantastic breakfast! 5 stars! Couldn’t rate highly enough!

Very close to town and there was a centre right next door . There was a gorgeous Chinese restaurant witch me and my partner went to before the cinema. It is fair easy to get to the town there are loads of taxis about if you do not drive it is also in walking distance.

The Sea Dew B&B was wonderful, as was dinner at the Italian restaurant, Mezzo. The Tullamore Dew Distillery Tour was amazing and a do not miss stop. Even if you’re not crazy about whiskey, the tour is educational and what beautiful setting!

Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore.

Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore. Flowers hanging outside of the premises etc. The town is let down very badly by the town council as the footpaths are a disgrace. They have not been cleaned in a very long time, if ever. The paths were black marked, sticky and disgusting. These premises are paying rates and being let down badly.

There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family.

There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family. We enjoyed having a proper Irish breakfast served in our kitchen. And a wonderful full dinner along with the enjoyable host cooking and serving in the farm house. Marg would suggest places nearby to visit and tour. We even got to enjoy watching some of the DVD's that were available for our entertainment.

Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns.

Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns. We were there for a football match. Plenty of parking at the GAA ground.it was easy to get around the town and well sign posted. We got takeaway in McDonalds and it was great service.

Mary was a really friendly and helpful host. The room was very clean but be aware that it is a budget room so there are no frills (eg no TV or breakfast) although it has an ensuite. This isn't a criticism as it is less than half the price of hotel rooms in the area and I would be delighted to stay there again.
