Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.
Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.
Being one of the most youthful European cities, Dublin has a vibrant nightlife scene with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

I was impressed with the central area of Dublin. It almost knocks Barcelona off of my top spot for cities. The National Gallery is the most impressive art gallery i've ever visited and there is no charge.

There was so many things do see and do, there was never a boring moment. Very easy to get around the city on foot and most sightseeing spots are close to each other. There are so many places to find good food we didn’t have a single bad meal, but the standout wash o’sheas merchant with their fish and chips plus the live music was fab. Some of our favourite places that we visited were the Guinness storehouse & Dublin Zoo, which are great places for couples to visit. There are also lots of free museums for those looking for culture or those travelling on a budget.

I've known Dublin for forty years--lived there for ten years 80s/90s--and there's still much to enjoy and love but it's a smallish city now with a very large population and it's hard to get around because of that. Restaurants teem but are expensive regardless of quality and usually very crowded mid-evening. But it has a fantatsic buzz and vitality that makes it unique.

Love historic places ? really nice people ? the nature ?
Love historic places ? really nice people ? the nature ? the beer ? the folkloric irish music ? I do not know what are you waiting for :)
Easy transport by bus or train, but i always prefer walk to discover new places.
Rent a car or book a tourist tour to discover nearby places also.
For museums, Guiness warehouse ...etc always a pre-order ticket its recommended to save time.

The location is absolutely perfect, close to Temple Bar and the City Centre. The hotel is classic looking inside, the room was a triple with 3 single beds and a large bathroom. Plenty of space for us. The huge bonus is the bar downstairs as it was one of the nicest we went to in Dublin and on the Sunday night we stayed they had live music which was fantastic. Overall a perfect place to stay for us and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Lovely hotel near the city centre. Rooms are clean and spacious and special praise goes to the friendly and accommodating staff, we arrived a bit earlier than planned and they let us in our room for an early check in.
Practically everywhere can be reached on foot from the hotel and public transport passes not far from the hotel. We had a lovely weekend in the hotel and if we come back to Dublin, we will surely stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful! All the books about Ireland in the foyer are amazing. The staff were so kind! My son got lots of sweeties from them :) They were very helpful with us too! The location is also ideal; right in the city centre with a direct tram to Heuston and Connolly. There are lots of shops and restaurants around.
I visited Dublin for a concert. The hotel's location to the Three Arena was fantastic, only a 5-minute walk. Transport to and from the City Centre was great with the Luas just outside the Hotel! The room was comfortable and had all of the amenities and the breakfast was great with many options available.
Clean comfortable room. Very nice decor throughout. Very nice bar. Very helpful staff. Good location, easily accessible to city centre and airport. Would be first choice of hotel to stay in Dublin.
