An amazing hotel in the middle of the jungle with pool. The house was like on the pictures ( we booked the main apartman for 5people). The Staff was really helpful. Amok sunset bar is around 10minutes to walk. The road is not so bad as in some reviews, roads are overall in bad condition in Nusa Penida.

The hosts were so friendly and very helpful during our stay. They explained the facilities, gave us advice on what to do on the island, arranged a scooter and made us a great breakfast every day.
The room was spacious and cleaned every day, they even dropped off our washing and arranged transport to the port. A very nice property in a lovely quiet area.

Nusa Penida is a beautiful island with lots to see. I recommend hiring a bike. I sadly don’t drive so did not see as much as I could have! The island offers gorgeous views and sunsets but is quite hilly. There are so many lovely places to eat but as I wasn’t able to get around much due to not having a bike and had limited cash (Gojek and Grab not available on the island) I stayed in most evening after dark or didn’t venture too far. I spent two nights on Gili T as my stay on Nusa Penida was quite long.
My main reason for visiting was to scuba dive - absolutely amazing experience, I was definitely not dissapointed but be aware if heading to manta point - always big waves and not for the faint hearted or those who get sea sick.

I was expecting the island to be more lively, but it honestly felt dead. The so-called “main town” was just a small area near the ports, while the rest of the island was basically jungle. The roads were in poor condition, and you definitely need a scooter to get around.

When travelling over to NP best to get a ferry that actually docks in the harbour..
there is a 2500irp tourist fee you pay cash as soon as you get there. Taxis are everywhere as is motorbike hire
Be prepared and have a planned itinerary where you want to go and rough price you are willing to pay.. we paid Irp600000 for 2 of us for 5 hours taking in Broken beach and Angel Billabong and Kalenkelang.
Beware of the monkeys in the latter.. they will steal ANYTHING! At the end of the we had some lunch before getting to our accommodation about 230pm . Was perfect.. oh btw. The roads are a shocker.. hopefully they put that tourist tax into building better roads. We were also lucky enough to be there for Melasti day . A sight and experience I will never forget . As it was a festivity sort of time there were not many warungs/restaurants open until later in the day. Great sunsets at Crystal bay.. very tranquil

There is sooooo much to see here!!
There is sooooo much to see here!! We visited different attractions /view points during 2 days by scooter, and only saw a little of what the island has to offer. Those 2 days were exhausting and would have been nice to stretch out over a couple more days. Sooo many stairs to climb, our legs were sore after day 1. We definitely did not see all of the attractions and would like to return. I would highly recommend

It's an amazing island.
It's an amazing island. It will be best experience if you know how to ride a motorbike cause you can drive in the middle of the jugle looking for beaches. Traffic is not that bad but the roads are not in good condition and the cars drives fast and you need to be focus all the time.

We loved our stay at The Tukad Gepuh. It’s a beautiful jungle oasis, so peaceful and yet still only a 30 minute scooter road to most of the attractions. The person in charge, Wayan, is always so friendly and helpful. He arranged a lift for us to and from the harbour, scooter hire, manta ray snorkelling tour, and delicious food from the hotel restaurant (the fried rice is so good!) Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the beautiful island of Nusa Penida.
Perfect place to stay in Nusa Penida, within walking distance to Crystal Bay. The team is amazing, always ready to help you with a smile, the bungalows are very nicely decorated and you have everything you need in terms of facilities. The sunset view from the pool is absolutely stunning! We rented scooters from Meket to see the rest of the island. You have 2 very nice restaurants just next to Meket. I would go back without no doubt.
Small hotel, located near the port and still enough far away that it's peacefull. Direct on the beach for nice walks with the friendly dogs who live on the beach. Nice pool and room terrace next to it. Friendly staff organised the transfer from and to the port. As I have seen front beach accomodations in the island Nusa Penida, this one is much better than any other which are very basic.
My second stay at this property. If you like the nature and not bother you some Insekt or noise it's definitely a nice experience. Nusa Penida it's a very unique and nice Island with some gorgeous Beaches. The Pool it's nice. Food it's delicious. You can rent a scooter direkt at the property. I like very much this Hotel and i definitely come back again .
