The staff were incredible. So friendly and going out of their way to ensure that we really had the most comfortable stay that we could. I went for trekking, unsure what time I'd be back and they let my partner stay in the suite long after what should have been our check out time. The extras were incredible as well. Fresh pressed health juices every day. Biscuits and treats. The WhatsApp group they have is really responsive. I would recommend the place to everyone.

This is a nice, normal accommodation. No luxury, however the rooms are clean and comfy. The staff is nice and will help with everything. Breakfast is nothing extra. It takes about 45 mins with motorcycle to get to the famous beaches, but it is right next to Buyuk Harbour where the Blue Water express fast ferries arrive which is great! The private beach is lovely and the pool water is nice and warm.

Very good value for money.
Check-in was nice and easy, we arrived later than we wanted to be able to explore the island but the Host made it super easy for us with nice suggestions and easy scooter rental available in place.
Room was clean, warm and good water pressure. Shower gel and shampoo provided.
Keep in mind the price you are paying, don't expect a 5* hotel, but it's still a very good choice. We would easily choose this place again for 2 nights.

We loved the stunning views over the beaches in Nusa Penida, especially from spots like Kelingking. However, getting to the beaches can be challenging due to steep stairs, and swimming isn't always safe—locals warned us about strong currents at Crystal Bay and other beaches. It's best to enjoy the views rather than swim. Also, the island's rough roads make traveling around slow. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but be prepared for some challenges!

A very promising island with great potential, but with a very low level of service and organization. It is necessary to pay for visiting any sightseeings, be it beaches, beautiful places, etc. In general, it is very dangerous to climb up and down from some places. The roads are dangerous, so I wouldn't risk riding a bike myself. All nice locations are easy to find on the Internet.

Unsustainable tourism.
Unsustainable tourism. Roads clogged up, shocking amount of litter throughout the island. No refuse collection arrangements, island is going to be seriously affected by tourism in the coming years as is the case in south Bali…sad to see. People are amazing and friendly, they deserve better governance and sustainable tourism strategies immediately.

Staying overnight in Nusa Penida helps you avoid the herds of tourist that do the 1-day tour.
However, everything is a bit far apart and poorly communicated, so do not expect full days of doing lots and lots of things. If you are in search for that, it probably is not the best destination for you. If you are looking for a place to chill, do some beautiful snorkelling and have some drinks at sunset, go for it.

Nusa Penida is a quite place.
Nusa Penida is a quite place. Not much to do there apart from few cafes by the beach like Bubu beach cafe or the beaches like Kelingking, Broken and Crystal beach. If you are a peace loving person and not that explorative then you should stay here else you can stay at Nusa Lembongan where there are cafes and market streets and can travel on a boat to Nusa Panida to do a day trip.

the roads are verry bad in Nusa Penida and when there are so many tourist Chinese, Korean and Indian people coming to this Island. The local people must invest in their main roads and how to keep this Island cleaned without trowing plastics and trash nearby the roads... mother nature wil bee angry about this.
Ogi and team were amazing throughout our stay, organising great tours for us around Nusa Penida as well as an enjoyable snorkelling trip. The hotel is situated on the quieter east side of the island which we liked while room had stunning views out to the sea and the breakfast provided was very nice. We also had dinner there one evening and the food was great and also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here.
The owner is the nicest host we had so far in all of Bali. He is extremely helpful with absolutely everything regarding your stay on Nusa Penida.
He helped us get from and to the harbour, managed to get way cheaped boat tickets for us and made the best suggestions regarding places to visit on the island and where to eat.
The staff are very very nice.
You can rent a scooter. Breakfast is quite good.
Agus and his wife were incredible throughout our stay. Always helpful and kind. The outdoor bathroom was lovely and the area near the pool was great to look at stars. The scooter rental was cheap and everything was easy to access from the hotel. I will definitely be back if I’m in Nusa Penida again.
The location is beautiful and Nusa Penida isn't a big island so all tourist bits are accessible by scooter or taxi. The hotel will arrange everything for you if need be and taxi drivers more than willing to accommodate your every need. The food is great and service excellent for ALL staff.
