Location for the high street was good but the surrounding streets were not great.
We usually stay in a premier in. But decided to treat ourselves and we weren’t disappointed. When we lived in scunthopre we used to eat here regularly so thats why we decided to stay here as we have never been disappointed

A large village with three pubs.
A large village with three pubs. About a mile or so from the property but walkable if you wanted to. Only tried The White Swan (twice) but it was excellent. There are two shops in the village. The Pink Pig Farm (about 10 miles away) is an excellent day out for children up to 12.

Scotter is a lovely little village, we went there for my husband to go fishing and there are two decent fishing lakes nearby.
There are a couple of pubs and lots of different take aways all within walking distance of the hotel.
Very nice, lovely hotel; the staff is lovely and friendly, the rooms are clean and pleasant and last but not least, the restaurant and bar offer delicious food!!!
All aspects of the hotel were great, but in particular the staff were excellent and the food was delicious, especially the Chocolate and Tonka bean creme brulee.
