The hotel is right in the city centre so great for getting around and visiting all the attractions. They also serve a great breakfast, it’s a bit pricey but worth not having the hassle of trying to find somewhere else to go and there were a lot of options. They also serve barista made coffee that’s included in the breakfast price. The staff were also so lovely! The friendliest people we have come across on our trip in England. We also booked the windowless room as we were only here for a night and it didn’t feel claustrophobic.

Lots of restaurants, shops and cultural venues within walking distance. Access to trains and buses within a 5 minute walk and within a 10 minute walk to buses across the England. Although the room was cosy in size it was very comfortable and provided everything needed in the way of essentials. The bathroom had a high warm shower, and shelves on which to place toiletries. The hotel was ecologically inclined regarding recyclable paper, etc., and changing linens only when needed. There is an elevator to the first few floors.

Traveled to Sheffield, England for the first time for sport games, which the location is perfect for. The area is also very safe and quiet. There’s light rail within walking distance if you need to go to the city center. The room is not big but big enough for up to two people. The room cleaning ladies come everyday around 1-2pm to switch up your towels. Front desk staff can call a taxi that costs the same as uber that picks you up in 6 mins if uber is too busy/not working.

I need to call Booking.com because I chose not to stay once I saw the room. The accommodations were like a Motel 6 in the states. Not at all what I expect from a hotel in England. A Premiere Inn would be nicer than this. This was my only booking that truly let me down. After seeing the room, I immediately checked out. I was there for maybe 10 minutes, and got no refund. They said because I booked through Booking.com they could not refund me. Would not stay. Will not return.

The staff at the main office for Dream Stays was exceptional. My son managed to lock himself in the bathroom (a part of the door lock was broken), and the staff rescued him quickly after my call! They also brought about a missing remote control, and were generally there for whatever we needed. The apartment itself was in an amazing location and right in the heart of everything in Bath. This was one of my favorite condo rentals for my family while in England!

This was a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed in 6 different locations on a 2 week tour of England and frankly this was the best bed of any place we stayed. The room was so comfortable. Loved our stay in this recently renovated hotel. We hiked in Whinlatter Forest and explored Keswick, The Ruddings was situated perfectly in the middle. The staff were very helpful, food was delicious, and as someone traveling in a car, there was plenty of parking!

The room and the breakfast were great but what really was exceptional was the service. Both Victor, who checked us in, and Lamar, who served breakfast, were welcoming, friendly and delivered excellent service. Unlikely many hotels and guest houses in England the staff at Burlington House genuinely seemed to care about the accommodation and the guests and I would definitely recommend staying there if you’re visiting Oxford.

It was just as expected … a quaint, older, quiet pub and inn. We didn’t want to visit England and stay in a big franchised Hotel. Comfortable bed. The room included a couch (which would make into a bed). The bathroom was very clean and updated. And all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Gave us some great advise on visiting in downtown Canterbury. And dinner was convenient, just ran downstairs.

We stayed here while there was an England match recently. Before we got there we received a call asking if we wanted to book a table to be able to watch the match. Upon arrival we were told that any hotel guests could watch the match in the separate lounge area. This made the stay an exceptional experience and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for going above and beyond for your guests!

The hotel was so lovely. Everything I would have thought a small seaside hotel in England would be. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious. My husband and I had an afternoon drink and appetizer in the Garden restaurant. Then we had drinks and dinner with our friends in the garden as well. All of the food was freshly prepared and delicious!

The hostel was spotlessly clean both in the rooms and the communal areas. Everything you needed was onsite, including a very well stocked kitchen and information about the area. The staff were all fantastic and very helpful at all times. It was the perfect place to enjoy a great holiday in a beautiful area of England with the bonus of meeting new people and feeling very homely.

Very Englisch, 85% of the guests were inhabitans, brillant pub/resto very autthentic, kind and helpfull service hotel evening and morning, very nice location and hotel rooms and resto are on flat level means you can your luggage tow to your room. I was flashed by this location and the best of 4 in 7 day Journey to England. Travelled England often, because 2 cousins there

Excellent location. Cheap. Clean. Stayed previously but never visited kitchen/common room area before, so this time was very impressed with facilities offered. Matt on the front desk was very friendly, helpful, hospitable and welcoming. He was full of great local tips. It's a shame there are not more Albatross Hostels around England!

Honestly, this was the best place I’ve stayed at in England. The apartment was spotless, in a quiet and cozy area, and just a short walk from shops and the Blackpool Tower. It was also very easy to reach from the train station. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. I genuinely felt at home here and will definitely stay again next time..

The hotel is centrally located, a few minutes away from the Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre. You can park outside for £6 per day and there are several places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. It's got an interesting history (reputedly the oldest hotel in England). The staff were lovely - really friendly and welcoming.

new and clean property from Jesus college at the centre of Cambridge. This apartment is the finest accommodation during my trip to England, offering a fine kitchen, a lovely balcony. you got the chance to visit some colleges nearby such as trinity, Jesus, Magdalene etc. besides, breakfast here if fantastic! definitely recommend.

The Circus is arguably the best street in England. It exudes history and class. The apartment is fully in keeping with the location; both are stunning and , quite simply, world class. I would highly recommend this property. It is more than a place to stay, it is a cultural experience. It is also very comfortable and welcoming.

Wonderful ambiance of this charming hotel. Food in restaurant was delicious , the best we ate in England. The staff in the restaurant were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good with several choices and they happily made lattes. The front desk was very helpful in getting us taxis and giving directions.

My children are big fan of HP so I was looking for something that they will like anywhere in England, I found this hotel and since it’s near our favourite restaurant in GY (Columbia Taverna) I say why not. The host was very accomodated and helpful. We love the decor, my children loves their room and the lounge.
