Nice welcome, great room and very comfy beds. Dog bowls and treats set out in room was a nice touch. Really excellent food - the best pub fish and chips we've had for a long time, and lovely, freshly cooked breakfast. Attractive old building, beautiful village, stunning castle and good walks along the Nunney Brook. Convenient for main roads, but feels happily secluded.

We stayed with the family, travelled into Bath city the first day and went to Longleat the next day. Perfect location. We used the bus to travel into Bath city centre which was great.
Food was lovely, overall a perfect stay.

Very comfortable room. Big, very comfortable bed. Real coffee in the bedroom. Shower very good. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand wash and hand sanitiser in the bathroom were all really gorgeous.
Lovely, lovely restaurant with fabulous food and a genuine “French” feeling, which was very nice.
Very friendly staff.

I know Frome as I lived here in the 80s. Lovely quaint market town, but it has become more busy and parking is difficult generally. Two theatres... great! And lots of entertainment in Cheese and Grain. Very hilly place, ok if you’re fit to walk everywhere, if not there are buses.

Lots going on and plenty of places to wander around. Interesting independent shops and eating places (but book ahead at the weekend fof evening dining). Good as a base for exploring West Wiltshire and Somerset.

The George hotel, fronting on to a busy main road, was noisy; it was only single-glazed. From what we could tell, Frome offers no other hotels - shame.
There were some nice eating places in the town; we visited a fine Italian restaurant on three evenings, no less.
We also happened on an excellent coffee/chocolate shop, appropriately called Choc. The staff were excellent, as was the produce.
Frome benefits from a railway station, with frequent services to Bath and beyond, also to Weymouth. Alas, for us it involved a mile-long walk from the centre of the town.

Absolutely beautiful and quirky.
Absolutely beautiful and quirky. Loads of independent shops and eateries. Wonderful independent cinema and fabulous old-fashioned bakery with gorgeous cakes.
The Lamb and Fountain is the most incredible old-fashioned pub in a backstreet. Like stepping back in time. Delicious and very cheap farmhouse cider on draft and cheese and onion rolls for sale. Has a lovely courtyard garden down an alleyway out the back.

We stayed at the George in Nunney which is the most beautiful little village. Outdoor seating at the pub both in their gardens and over the road where you can sit by the river with a perfect view of the castle.
Their is an ancient monument and a lovely church, a picture perfect little village.
The castle is free to walk around in to go inside.
We ate in the George and the food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The staff are police, efficient and helpful.
I couldn't recommend both the pub and the village more.
The room was very comfortable and the hotel was in the Centre of frome, close to everything. Food and drinks at the restaurant were lovely end good value for money. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The assistant manager went above and beyond to make our stay as brilliant as possible, even though he was working end to end shifts due to staff absence. He welcomed us every morning with a cheery hello and went out of his way to help. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to staying here again.
From the very warm welcome from Nicki as we arrived paved the way for our overnight stay.
The room was exceptionally clean with lovely touches such as the chocolates on our towels to the complimentary fizz in the mini fridge.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and a refreshing change from the usual fry up offered.
Nicki was friendly and helpful - it felt like we had known her for years.
If Nicki and Tim were running a hotel it would definitely be a 5star one.
We would recommend this fab B&B to anyone staying in the area.
We were surprised to find the property in a housing estate. However it was very conveniently situated close to Longleat Safari Park and Frome town centre.
If you prefer full English breakfast this is not the establishment for you. We were very happy with continental breakfast, which was plentiful. Breakfast was very relaxed, Nicki and Tim were very attentive and excellent hosts.
Our room was delightful, very well equipped and comfortable.
Nicki was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
Great location within easy walking distance to shops etc. in Frome, very quiet area at night.
Large home with ample room for a small group, beds were super comfy and heating upstairs was excellent so we all had a lovely night‘s sleep.
Simple modern decor and several bathrooms, really easy check in and out process and thoughtful hosts who arranged for the heating to come on earlier as it was a cold day without us having to ask!
Lovely location in Frome, top of the hill. But it was an uphill trek getting back to the hotel after a meal at the Italian. We had two rooms, travelled with another couple (family). Rooms we nice and clean generally. Most important: great customer service from Helena, couldn't fault her and such a wonderful personality :-) And, great breakfast....tasty and well-cooked, again done by Helena.
A lovely log cabin with everything you need, also had complimentary milk, biscuits and wine on arrival. 1 bedroom with really comfy large bed and sofa bed in the living area which we used. Good bathroom. Had everything we needed. Although in owners garden it was very private. Had seating area outside and parking. Good location for Frome town centre which you can easily walk to. All good
Interesting characterful house (though you will bang your head, guaranteed!) Very comfy bed and cosy room. Nice to have tea/coffee/milk in the room. Location is excellent though there is some pub noise opposite at turning out time (and drunk people of course!). But the general area is lovely. House owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was excellent as was the location. The hotel is right in the centre of Frome. Staff were lovely and the room was spotlessly clean. Excellent tea and coffee-making facilities and top-notch biscuits supplied. Great base for exploring Frome and the surrounding Somerset countryside. Excellent value for money.
Very clean room, well organised establishment and plenty of space to walk in the grounds. Very handy location for Longleat Safari Park and Stourhead along with the town of Frome. Having an independant cafe on the site was a bonus. If I was staying in this area again I would certainly stay here.
Beautiful location just outside Frome in quiet countryside village. Lovely garden and view.
Clean comfortable accommodation and communal area for dining/ breakfast. Host Chris is very friendly and really helpful ensures you are comfortable .
Very comfy beds and great shower. Breakfast was delicious. We also had a lunch and this was equally tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bistro is in an excellent position for the centre of Frome and for touring the area.
Jasmine cottage is set in a beautiful location. James is an excellent host and cooks an amazing breakfast. It was a very nice and restful stay. James is great to talk with and really helpful with offering advice on things to do in the area.
Location perfect for exploring Frome.
Host very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Incredibly comfortable in her company.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would not look anywhere else for accommodation if returning to Frome.
Gorgeous bed and breakfast in the heart of Frome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are equipped with large bathtubs. Breakfast was also excellent and staff was very kind and accommodated special requests.
The building had a very nice old feel to it. We enjoyed this as it gave our stay much more character than what you get with a Premier Inn or similarly large Hotel chain. Very classy interior also
Fantastic location for the center of Frome, excellent service from warm and friendly staff, a great room with an effective shower, and a great breakfast to see us on our way 😁
