Location was close to where we needed to be so that was great. The property was excellent with modern fitout to a period building in a rural setting. The room was warm on a cold day and very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The host was excellent and provided us with local information.

I can't think of anything positive to say. Well, maybe the fact that I had ear-plugs with me - no idea where the loud drumming was coming from. And I guess it was cheap - you get what you pay for?

It was very peaceful if you need that get away feel .

It was very peaceful if you need that get away feel . Excellent continental breakfast and the eggs were fresh from the owners chickens . Nice view into country side . Host Kim and Gary were very friendly and helpful . The only thing I would say is if you are tall be careful with your head on the side of the room as the walls slant up to the ceiling as it is a barn conversion . Just remember to duck your head 😊

Beautiful countryside, lots of interesting places to visit.Thames, and Henley are lovely towns all with great shops and restaurants. We travelled to The Frog at Skirmett for Sunday lunch ,it was superb !! Fantastic food .The reason for our trip to this area was a visit to Chiltern Valley Winery for a wine tasting experience ,this I can highly recommend ! Very informative ,lovely to see the vineyard ,and how the final product tastes! They also have a micro brewery and do the most incredible liquors . Well worth a visit .

Restaurant food really really tasty and served piping hot and in good time. Man at reception/bar so so rude, no smiles no warmth and the way he spoke to us was like we were an inconvenience. After having to be served by him twice my partner actually asked him is everything ok and is there a reason that you are speaking to us like that. Lovely room, quite old fashioned but it didnt matter as it was Immaculate.

Friendly welcome from the receptionist and helpful , efficient bar/restaurant staff - particularly Claudia and her husband. Rooms are spacious and most overlook the Buckinghamshire countryside. If the weather is fine, there are nice outside areas to sit for meals and drinks - the courtyard and the restaurant patio. Easy to find location just off the motorway and gives quick access to Thame, Chinnor, Princes Risborough and further afield. Quiet at night.

The room was spacious and clean with a decent sized bath and shower. We ate dinner in the Hotel on the 2nd night and it was excellent, a pork chop in a mustard sauce with mash and veg, very good indeed. The location is great for a trip to London on the Oxford Tube
