The breakfast was amazing. The oninigiri station produced the best customized oninigiris everyday. It was just fantastic. The hotel was extremely conveniently located right across the street from Asakusa station. Amazing access to Asakusa Temple and walking distance (2.7km) from the Ueno Park and zoo. Just fantastic.

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly, polite and spoke English well. The walking distance to the train station was approximately 10 minutes away from the hotel. From the roof top, you get a great view of the Tokyo Skytree. We would stay here again.

Overall, on our Japanese trip, Wagokoro was the best accommodation out of all our stays - it was the most economical, yet for us, was far preferable than some of the more sophisticated hotels we also stayed in. We loved the neighbourhood - quiet, yet plenty on offer. The station has great food options, the bakery 3 mins walk away was exceptional, and soon became our local, and although we didn't get to try it, there is a fabulous ramen place hidden away on the main road. Wagokoro is about 8-12 mins walk from the station, but that didn't bother us. We were glad for the quiet, after the intense busyness after our days out in Tokyo. (Nippori station is on the JR Yamanote line. It's also a stop on the Keisei Skyliner making it easy to get to from Narita Airport.) The staff were the best - so warm, friendly and helpful - it was like coming back home at the end of each day. The shared food prep and dining area was good for heating up and eating quick meals from the Family Mart, and the bedrooms were the most generously sized out of all our accommodation in Japan.

Clean pleasant room with two opening windows. This allowed a natural breeze through the space. There was also a small balcony with an interesting neighbourhood view (from the 5th floor to the rear of the site). Staff were friendly and considerate. Location is close to Nippori station, fabric town and in walking distance of Yanaka and also Higurashi Bakery.
