This is a small and friendly hotel with a lovely chilled out vibe. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The power shower was amazing and the breakfast delicious. We slept really well as it’s very peaceful. The supermarket is just opposite and we had the option to cook in our room. We also parked our car here. We wish we could stay longer 🥰

The apartment was AMAZING! We couldn’t believe how lucky we were that it was available. Everything was spotless, comfortable and convenient. It was toasty warm with great facilities. The staff organised all our ski wear hire before we arrived which was super helpful and we did a great snow shoeing tour with Spencer which we all loved. Word to the wise: it’s self check in so don’t forget to read the FIRST email they send you with instructions. We got caught up with emails which came after that so completely forgot about it which made our check in a bit awkward. Totally our fault! Also, nothing was open to eat when we were there. There may have been some places that we never found but almost everything is in Japanese as it’s a locals resort. There is one small (mainly souvenir) shop 9-6pm and the local onsen (next door to Northstar) which was open all day for food. It’s a nice menu and reasonably priced. We brought some food with us (breakfast, etc) so that was lucky. It might be better in the summer but make sure you have something with you.

Location is great! Right next to the station. Staff was helpful and helped arrange luggage delivery to next stop. Breakfast was good with lots of options.
