The breakfast was good but a little high priced. The staff was superior. A special recognition to Haley, Mel, Karen and Eleanor. When my husband and I came to the lobby in the morning and/or the evening we were greeted and asked about our day's excursion. It truly felt like home away from home.

The hotel is close to the center of Newcastle, 20 minutes by bus, the guys at the reception are friendly. I have been in the spa which is free for guests, there is a jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. Large swimming pool with sunbeds, changing room and armchairs at the entrance to the wellness center. I was happy with the cleanliness of my room and the pool and the entire spa. I will return soon

Had a wonderful stay at The Vermont Hotel for our anniversary. The hotel was lovely, staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect. It's very quiet, but restaurants and bars are nearby and it's a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Our room was spacious and had a view of the castle. Breakfast was good, having the option of a buffet or ordering off the menu, and we managed to get free parking at the hotel. Great value for money for the luxury and service received. The rooftop bar was stunning.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station. The rooms are large and the reception and foyer are beautiful. The spa is a nice addition with a steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi and pool. I loved the breakfast, a great selection of both hot and cold food. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great quality, well cooked and plentiful, you help yourself at the buffet area.

Me and my boyfriend checked into this hotel from 10/3 to 11/3 as a little break away for one night. The hotel itself is very attractive, with an old car in the reception and the swimming pool and spa facilities are very relaxing. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed and big flat-screen television.

The room in this hotel was the best I have ever stayed in - it was immaculately clean, very modern decor and extremely spacious. The bed was very comfortable and a large size. The swimming pool and jacuzzi area was lovely and very relaxing to finish off our stay. Along with a massage in the spa area of the hotel!
