Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe had previously been staying at the Courtyard Inn behind Hampton, we had an unfortunate stay the last time and decided to spend the few extra dollars and stay here. My fiancee and I have stayed a couple times now and love it. However, the last stay we brought our granddaughter for a weekend “adventure”. The pool was so cold the kids were blue. I feel that when a main attraction for the hotel and for the price of the room , the facilities should be functioning properly or the room rate should be adjusted for a hotel without a pool.
The location and the room was perfect.

United StatesThe fact that they were renovating kept the place dusty, the elevator needed bulbs replaced, hard to open door because it was swollen the door, limited parking spaces, and no microwave inside the rooms.
It was close to retail stores, restaurants, and gas station. I also liked the comfy beds, breakfast, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

United StatesAfter arriving 2 hours after posted check in time we had to wait in the cold lobby for 50 mins for our rooms to be cleaned. The front desk woman said there was no mgr there for the whole weekend. She was unprofessional and seemed frazzled. Others were waiting as well. You have to take the elevator down to get to a 1 person bathroom which was strange. The lobby furniture needs to be replaced and CLEARLY they need more staff! We had somewhere to be and this experience threw a wrench in our plans. I don’t think I would stay here again.
Rooms were acceptable. No weird smells or anything.
