Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomMy bed was very hard (I wouldn’t usually comment) although my husband and daughters were ok. The reception staff were not the most welcoming but then staff in restaurant made up for this and generally the stay was fine with a basic but clean room.
The location to nemrut is perfect. The buffet dinner was good and suitable for vegetarians. The pool was pleasant. Restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrace with amazing views.

FranceThe customer service left a little to be desired. When we made the booking we were excited about the pool advertised; we even called ahead the day of and requested that the pool be cleaned. However, when we arrived, it was scummy and filled with leaves. We asked several more times for the pool to be cleaned before it finally was. When we asked about the wifi password, the concierge shrugged and said "it's not working around here." We asked if it was being fixed but were told it wasn't working anywhere in the area. Several hours later, though, we were told the staff had "turned on all the networks" which implied it hadn't been an issue with the mountains but rather with employee choice. We then had to ask twice before a broken fridge was replaced. I realize these may reflect cultural differences in communication, but it was frustrating to have to beg for advertised amenities. The rooms' A/C units weren't very strong, which was difficult for some of us in the heat of summer. The hotel also experienced issues with their credit card machine.
The location is what really makes Hotel Euphrat special -- a peaceful mountain view, starry night sky, quiet at night, and only a 20-minute drive to Mt. Nemrut. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean (thank you!), and the showers had wonderfully hot water. The dinner buffet was very flavorful and had good vegetarian options. We also appreciated the staff adding an extra room to our booking at the last minute.

BulgariaWe booked a room because the place offered, according to its Booking description, a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and a free one to Mount Nemrut. Both turned out in the range of 50-60 USD, and it even took three days to reach the staff in order to learn that while trying to arrange the transfer. Their comment was to call that a misunderstanding. I'm sure that many people willing to go to Nemrut chose the hotel for the same reasons. The room was poorly designed in ways you can't see from the picture. It was strange that a place so keen to avail itself of foreign tourists offered no "proper" coffee - meaning there was only a self-service Nescafé pot (I know this is commonplace in Turkey, but the specific touristy venue raises the expectations).
The breakfast was superb. The location, too. From the terrace one could enjoy a great view while having breakfast. Mount Nemrut was easily accessible within half an hour. The person who took us there was nice.

ArgentinaI think the fact that when you are eating in the dinning area the cats are around you while you are eating. It's unpleasant and not hygienic. Lots of tourists where actually not happy about this. They should be outside
The breakfast and dinner was great. Also, very nice place to be, quiet and relaxing.

FrancePersonnel is not interested in customers, delivers a minimum service; e.g. at breakfast, tables were not clean & we had to clean one ourselves. The hotel isn't located where some GPS put it! it is 5km AFTER the village Karadut.
this is the closest hotel to the monument of Nemrut Dagi & if you want to see the sunrise, this is a good place as 20 minutes away! the rooms are very simple & small but clean. The swimming pool is good (with some sand) & has some sun chairs. The dinner is simple (if vegetarian, salad, mezze & rice!), as is the breakfast buffet. The view on the valley is splendid!

Belgiumbut no hot water in the morning before I left at 08.30 (it was coming). Also extremely difficult to get there when travelling by public transport especially as the hotel telephones were all down it would appear so I had to depend on the good will of bus drivers who have a deal going with the Pension on the same road as the hotel, they will come to collect you at the junction and then try to persuade you to cancel your booking and stay at their establishment.
Excellent dinner and breakfast and setting is perfect. Breakfast on the terrace surrounded by majestic mountains and the sun just heating up, whilst the food was delicious. The owner is also very charming.
