  • “The pod is in a remote location which was perfect for me. The view over the Dyfi estuary was spectacular and I enjoyed sitting outside watching and listening to the local Cuckoo. Inside, the pod was as expected. I easily made do with the kettle and the fridge. Basic cooking facilities are in adjacent shed. The sofa folded down into a bed. A mattress topper was supplied and I brought my own pillow, bed sheet and sleeping bag. I slept really well and the bed was comfortable. It is a bit off grid there so I had downloaded some films and tv shows to my iPad beforehand. After a full day in the outdoors though I was too tired to watch them! It took me a while to work out how to use the shower but I think that was just my obtuseness. All in all I was sad to drive away.”

  • Unicorn Hotel Review score: 9

“Lovely room with some unique and personal touches. Gorgeous bathroom and coffee, tea, water and biscuits in the room - with some real milk in the mini fridge. Gemma was very helpful and came out to sort a small problem even though it was after 9pm”
