“The location was fabulous. We prefer to fit in with the region and be just like a local. No lifts in a hotel, just a great roomy apartment right on a canal and near the funkiest part of town.”
“We loved the location of this property. It is in a funky, local area of Amsterdam with great wine bars, restaurants and the best gelato bar. The suite is a renovated garage with a comfortable, enormous bed, lovely bathroom and a little sitting area up a ladder (which we didn’t use). The area was quiet at night so we could sleep well. I loved staying here.”
“One of the best places we have ever stayed! Lovely quiet area of Amsterdam, gorgeous view of the Amstel canal, great places to eat nearby. Absolutely loved it and never wanted to leave. It made our holiday to experience the houseboat!”

Affordability”
“Excellent facilities! The scenic view in that harbour area, it’s just wonderful to take a look and walk around the sea. The owner of this boat is pretty nice and would reach out to you in time and kindly share all the details to use all the facilities (lights, electricity, washrooms etc.) And don’t be afraid if you want to explore Amsterdam in the late night and would check in pretty later than the regulated time, just send a message to him and maybe he can leave the keys in an agreed position (such as the table in this boat), so you can easily get in the boat pretty easy. And the neighborhood is quite cozy, quiet and harmonious, with everyone’s nice smile when jogging or strolling. You can get here through train from Amsterdam Centraal to Naarden-Bussum and bus 100 later on. Recommend to get a Amsterdam region travel ticket, that includes this region, so that you can feel free to take the train, bus, tram etw.”
