The bed was SO comfortable! We looked forward to the delicious breakfast every morning, expertly and graciously served. The location was perfect for all we wanted to see and do, and Joop and Top helped us with advice on how to get around and even arranged for our cab to the train station. The room was beautifully appointed, with lots of little unexpected amenities, such as wine and chocolates in the sitting room.

Vey minor point was slightly high bed which was a little soft to our taste.

Lovely rooms right in the centre of Amsterdam with a nice view onto one of the main canals and close to a couple of lovely bridges. Nice breakfast every day and very friendly and accomodating hosts.

Maybe the setting out of the kitchen facilities could be set out a bit differently, so these could be used more easily , maybe a set of drawers could help with clothing storage , but both these issues would not stop me from recommending this accommodation are an excellent place to stay.

Nothing, everything was just perfect!

The communication was excellent from the very start - we loved the attention to the details from our hosts. The location is perfect to explore the city centre on foot yet very quiet. Lovely view from the breakfast/living room. The bedroom is cosy and spacious, loved the bed! Breakfast served every morning, the food was fresh. There is a tea/coffee station in the apartment so we enjoyed hot drinks throughout our 3 day stay. If time permitted we would have stayed for longer. The host kindly allowed us to check out later in the afternoon at no additional charge. Definitely will be returning to stay at this beautiful apartment. Thank you for having us.

Had to fiddle around with the lock on the door but I figured it out after practicing. Wasn’t really a dislike. It sort of added to the charm of living in a traditional house.

I liked the location which is central to many sites. The place was comfortable and the separate sitting room was perfect for a couple to relax in after a day out. The morning breakfast that was delivered to the apartment was also a nice treat to wake up to. It was the perfect place for us and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Joop and Topp.

Joop and Top are wonderful hosts, who were super friendly, accommodating and responsive. They provided us with a delicious breakfast every day, and even organised for us to go to a local cafe for breakfast one day when they were out of town. The apartment is spacious, light, super stylish and well appointed, with a super comfy bed. It's also in a superb location and incredibly central, right where you want to be - and yet, it somehow also manages to be really quiet and peaceful too! We really enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return if we get the chance!

It looked already great on the pictures, but in real life much better. Great breakfast, with every day something special. Joop is a great host. There when you need him. The location is great. You get a good feel how it is to live on a Amsterdam gracht.

The space for being right on the canals of Amsterdam was unbearable! We loved how clean the property was! The linens smelt fresh and everything was perfect. They had some cheese and snacks waiting out for our arrival. Both hosts were lovely!

The room is so artsy/lovely. And there is a whole living room to boot! The bed was comfy, the bathroom good, a fridge, microwave, coffee and tea heater. Everything was there! And it was so pretty.

The room is wonderfully spacious with a generous living area, bedroom and bathroom and looks onto a canal. A delicious breakfast was brought to our room each morning and our host Joop was delightful, helpful and friendly. The location was excellent - easy walking distance to the whole city centre, parks, museums etc.

It is a beautiful room in a fantastic location. We stayed here at the end of a 6 week trip and it was a very comfortable, spacious & clean room to relax in. The B&B is also located right on the canal so its a perfect spot for a glass of wine and some people watching yet also manages to be in walking distance of many attractions. Joop was lovely and greeted us as soon as we arrived, offering us a cold drink and a lovely spot to sit and relax. All communication was easy and I would happily stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam!

There were some minor issues not worth worrying over. Bathroom is small.

What a lovely BnB on the canal in Amsterdam. Our host was kind, warm, and helpful. We enjoyed tea with him, and loved our big comfortable bed, and all of the helpful guidance he provided. Morning breakfast facing the canal was lovely.
