“We greatly enjoyed staying at this property – wonderful, clean room with everything you need! There is a coffee machine with excellent quality coffee, also a good selection of teas and instant coffee, a small complementary bottle of a very good wine, some apples – it was very sweet of Adrienne and Boudewijn to provide these extras! :-)
Easy to travel around – bus 22 to the central station, tram 7 to Van Gogh & Rijks Museums, very convenient! Or, very enjoyable walk to the city centre – it won’t take you more than 20 min to get to the centre. Many good places to eat nearby, a supermarket is also behind the corner – great location!
Hosts are very helpful and responsive – they very quickly replied to all our messages, allowed us to check-in earlier (as we arrived earlier) – although of course it can’t be guaranteed.

“The location was perfect. We even came a couple hours early to leave our bags and the room was ready for us so we went straight in! What a bonus!!! Obviously this depends on the situation, but we were very thankful. The only thing to be aware of is there is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. So if you have trouble with things like that keep it in mind. Otherwise, we highly recommend!”
“Beautiful location on the water, really close to the heart of Haarlem. Breakfast had a nice atmosphere we got talking to so many kind people and shared plans together. Over all it was a very cozy space. I do think we got lucky with the room we were given, in fairness we were there 3 nights so the room by the saloon was ideal!”
“The B & B is set in an 18th century mansion. High ceilings with a chandelier. The room was spacious, clean and looked out onto a beautiful garden. The bed was very comfortable with an excellent mattress. The hosts , Ad and Esther are wonderful people. They are superb hosts that provided a great place to stay and included a few extra treats to enjoy.The breakfast was delicious and is delivered to the room on a trolley every morning. This is a wonderful place to stay and I heartily recommend it to fellow travelers.”
