The food was superb. Had a fantastic, hearty breakfast, with local produce.
The bathroom was clean, well equipped with good water pressure.
The room was lovely with a great view towards the sea. Peaceful and quiet, with kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits.
The owners; Jo and Ian, were welcoming, accommodating, and made us practically feel like family.
Located in central, peaceful area, but still only a couple of minutes walk to a few pubs and the harbourside.
It was ideal for a stopover before an early trip to Lundy. (and after a trip to Lundy)
I cant wait to go back for a longer stay.”

“The location is excellent. Good cooked breakfast. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. My room was very clean. Perhaps my only preference that was lacking would be a proper shower. My room had a handset spray bath tap. I managed to soak the floor every time I used it and beware the hot tap is incredibly hot. That said the bathroom was well fitted and finished cleaned every day. Overall a great few days at The Rising Sun.”
