The Devonian was simply outstanding - clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was also top notch - cereal, full English, fresh coffee.... Hosts were lovely too.

Wow what a place, Terrance & Piper have tastefully decorated the rooms (loved the bar area,great theme) the garden is a haven of wildlife, superb breakfast selection....Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts 5* accommodation and service, and very well priced...Highly recommended

Outstanding guest house and garden. Very peaceful and tranquil. Unexpectedly good facilities and beautifully presented. Piper and Terence were great hosts and really helpful. Breakfast was varied and excellent too!

The hot tap turned the wrong way. A small pice to pay for an amazing stay.

Terrace and Piper were very friendly and approachable, they made us feel totally at home, the hotel was in a stunning location and was very clean, breakfast was amazing, we even felt overwhelmed at the choices available to us,the cooked breakfast was hot and very tasty, we will be rebooking for the future.

The location, parking facilities, a beautiful home and a garden where wildlife share the space. Plus a gym, hot tub and so many private seating areas in the garden. The breakfast was simply the best.

Nothing - except the shower power but being on the top floor it’s expected that the pressure won’t be as powerful. There really is nothing we could improve it was such a wonderful place to stay

What jewel of a find! Not only is the property stunning Terence and Piper cannot do enough for you. We stayed in the olive room - the photos do not do to justice and it’s a lovely walk into the heart of Ilfracombe!

There is nothing about the place or the experience not to like. Absolutely no complaints what so ever

The hosts were exceptional. Terrence and Piper couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. They did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel and the food was top notch and the room was as advertised. Such a friendly place to stay, we will definitely stay there again next time we are down that way. 11/10 good job and thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable

Fabulous hosts - very friendly and helpful. Loved that it was all table service for breakfast which was excellent. Little touches such as an eye mask and ear plugs on the bed. Spotlessly clean throughout. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

The Devonian is a wonderful place to stay. Terence and Piper have put a huge effort into this and are the most perfect hosts. The entire establishment has been decorated thoughtfully and tastefully, our room was comfortable and roomy and breakfast was equisite. This was our favourite place we stayed on our road trip.
