“The cottage had a really homely feel. It was warm and welcoming and well equipped. The staff were excellent. We had a slight issue with the bath, but this was sorted the same day.”
“Nice stay for a couple of nights. Ideal location as very close to the centre. Parking wasn’t too much of an issue either. The apartment isn’t so much as ‘luxury’ just due to a few things. The 1 bedroom apartment that I’d booked wasn’t so much a 1 bed. It felt more like a studio. The kitchen/living was fairly limited for space and cooking. The hob only had 2 rings with not the right cooking pans for if you wanted to cook a proper meal. There is no oven to cook with either. When it comes to washing up, there is no drainer, tea towel or water that doesn’t stay hot for longer than 30 seconds! Received an email to encourage us to clean/tidy proper to leaving but don’t have any cleaning products. The rug in the living room also needs changing as it is very grubby and the corner is turned up which caused me to trip over a few times. The bathroom light kept going off due to a sensor. The place had missing lightbulbs and also bulbs that weren’t working (needs to be tested prior to stay) the bedside tables also didn’t have a plug either side so it made it difficult for charging etc. the place is very warm and has limited air flow unless you open the main door onto the street as the fan provided doesn’t do anything… I would say overall the place needs more attention to detail and to be well looked after to brand it luxury for the price I paid for 1 person for 2 nights..”
