The only things we missed was an extra tea towel and maybe some kitchen roll - but honestly, it’s a fantastic place to explore Chester, and so much more than just a place to lay your head!

Location- can’t fault this, everything was so close by, yet tucked away! Comfort - my son thought his bed was the nicest one he’s slept in! Welcome - fizz on arrival was fantastic!

My husband and I were comfortable in the double bed but sadly my daughter found that the single bed made her experience some aches and pains. Hence the one point off for comfort. I personally don’t think this was just due to the mattress as she’s an adult with a larger build, who has some postural issues due to a bad accident when she was 10 years old and does tend to find this in a few beds when we’re away. Parking wasn’t really an issue. You could park in Albion Street for 10mins to unload and pick-up. Then my husband parked in Percy Road for free, for the duration of our stay.

Beautiful little two bed property that was surprisingly spacious, right in the heart of the city centre and near to the Quay area too, which could be accessed easily via the Roman Gardens nearby. Well thought out facilities. Lovely decor and little touches. Amazing powerful drench plus hand held shower heads in both bathrooms. One of the best shower experiences we’d all had ever! Comfortable settees. Well stocked kitchen and a very kind welcome gift of chocolates and Prosecco. Everything we needed. You felt you were in someone’s lovely home, not simply an Airbnb. Would stay again. Hickory’s Smokehouse is amazing and just down the road on the Quay. So many independent shops, restaurants, cafes and businesses, which was wonderful to see in Chester. Great coffee at The Cinderbox. Fabulous brunches and cakes at Marmalade (need to book as so popular), impressed by Chester Market which is now a street food hall. The Brewhouse was lovely and we enjoyed a drink one evening at The gorgeous Albion Pub which was just next door but one to the property and was like stepping back in time. Very relaxed. Beautiful architecture everywhere. Great street entertainment, friendly people and buzzing atmosphere. Love Chester and the property. Hope to return. :)

A wonderfully presented house, which gave a home from.home experience but with a high-end holiday feel. The house is centrally located and close to the shops and restaurants Chester has to offer. The hosts have put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring your stay at Albion Street runs smoothly. I travel to Chester a few times a year, and I think my hotel days there have now come to an end! Gorgeous property with all amenities in the perfect location. We were working at the Storyhouse Theatre and it was a short walk through the centre to get there. so convenient for the tourist bus and lots of historic places to visit right on the doorstep. Definitely a home away from home for the young boys I was looking after.

A minor problem with the fridge/freezer, but it did keep our food cold enough.

Location was ideal, a few minutes walk from both the river and the shops. The street was so clean you could almost eat off it - we dropped some food on the ground outside the house and when we picked it up it was spotless! The host was amazing, available whenever you needed any advice, and gave us invaluable help. Guide book and information about the home were easy to read and very useful..
