The public bath was this time under renovation. They could have informed ahead of time all the guests and not be surprised when you checked in but this is just minor thing.

The location, the staff, the room. 3 mins walk to the subway station, Lovely staff who are very friendly and helpful. My room was spotless clean and they gave me extra towels whenever I put DND on my door because I don’t need cleaning everyday. Otherwise, they cleaned the room everyday. The free pastries from 2pm to 10pm and Softdrinks and ice cream!

Only 2 washing machines. Always busy. Onsen from some time is under maintenance and closed. I wasn't informed about that(I already had booked the night month before the maintenance started)

Check in was difficult. When I approached the desk both clerks were very hesitant to help me, with one even motioning to go to that clerk, and the clerk rolling theirs eyes before assisting. It seemed more like the employees didn't get along. The bed was hard. It was so firm that it was difficult to sleep and I woke with a lot of muscle tension.

Much of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the check out process was seamless. The location is a perfect in between from the park and susukino, and is in a quiet location. The hotel was extremely clean, as the staff were always cleaning every morning. The laundry machines were a huge plus so I could wash my clothes after a hot day.

Unfortunately this time we got a small room with a small and very hard bed. The worst bed we have slept in in Japan actually. A shame because we love this hotel and have stayed before but this bed was just very very bad. We will try and book a larger room next time and hope for a better bed.

The beds are small for two people. I heard there may be a bigger room option with a bigger bed so we will opt for the larger room if possible next time. The Onsen is switched between men and women at different times and we kept missing the times we wanted to use it. I don’t know what else you can do about that. We just arranged our nights around the onsen times.

We have stayed here before and really liked it so we came back. It was good to see that not too much has changed since we were last here 5 years ago. In fact its gotten better! The cafe out the front shut down during corona and now they use it for a lounge where you can relax and have all you can eat free icecream with their make your own sundae bar and have unlimited drinks and fresh baked breads! They also have package deals for all you can drink alcohol with beers and many spirits and mixers on offer. Its an Eco hotel so you can opt for no room cleaning and they will still give you new towels every day and they will give you a free Sapporo beer for every day you opt for no room cleaning! They also have free yoghurt milks in the change room for after Onsen! And a manga library room with so many books to read. Theres also more couches/ comfy spots to sit in the lobby area. Its a great location, between Nakajimakoen and Susukino stations and a close walk to Susukino main area for restaurants and nightlife. There is Seicomart and an awesome cheap grocery store across the road. Its also next to a very pretty river which has ducks and koi fish. Tea and amenities are downstairs. They also have a breakfast buffet in the morning in the old cafe (now lounge) which is really affordable and they have so many of their fresh baked breads on offer! If you love bread you will feel so spoilt!

Facilities are not new but well maintained. Lounge was really cozy and free foods are tasty. Comic book library was nice.

Road going in the hotel location was not cleared of snow. Location is good but had difficulty walking in the snow with luggages.

The bath time is a little bit short for customer. I like Japanese style bath,but the time is short.

I touched the heating buttons to make it cooler as it suddenly went up to 25 deg and since then the heating system was extremely noisy and I did not manage to fix it. The room for 2 people js small

I like hard mattress but this one was rock hard which took a bit to get used to

The ice cream/drink bar service from 12-22 is amazing and the breads that are served every hour after 15 are so good! The onsen is pretty good too! Location is also very convenient

We ended up booking a smoking room because we thought it wouldn't be so bad, but it WAS. Do not book a smoking room if you're not a smoker!! We hated it. The bathroom was meh, water pressure not so great.

The hotel was walkable distance from metro station Nakajima Koen and Susukino station. It's tucked away just off the shopping street, so the location is amazing. Everything was clean. I liked how the room was set up. A little kitchen +desk corner, a couch and a little table and our bed. The bathroom was split in washing basin, seperate toilet and seperate shower/bath. The publish bath was really nice, and so was the manga library. Would definitely book again!

I just loved the all-you-can-eat and drink lounge they provide! I spend half a day there doing my work and enjoying their coffee and Sapporo soft-cream for free with a very good Wifi connection.

If you’re a westerner, prepare for the flattest, hardest bed you have ever slept upon. I actually didn’t mind it too much but be aware. We were also given a smoking room which was not preferred but mostly our fault as we didn’t realize they had smoking rooms on offer. Would caution to pay attention to the room options, don’t miss if there is a late check in requirement (we could not check in until 20:00). However they do hold bags which is very kind!

The staff is really friendly and was patient with us as we did not know Japanese. Breakfast was cheap and very tasty. Onsen with shifting hours separating men and women was a plus, nice facility also. Great for a one night stay, seemed to be lots of travelers.
