It's close to a train station (too close in fact) and a 10 min walk distance from another line, making it easy to join both the Eastern or Western parts of Tokyo.
There's also a shopping alley near the 2nd train station with restaurants etc.
Since it's not a touristic area, it's not overcrowded and cheaper. But it's not a dormitory area so there's life and it's quite nice to walk around!
