Customer service is outstanding. There's a good reason that Josh keeps getting mentioned in reviews! Very friendly, very helpful. He was fab. Room was one of the ones outside of the pub. Very spacious, surprisingly quiet. Clean. Bed was massive and so comfortable i didn't want to leave.

Summer weight duvet would have made for a more comfortable night.

The hotel had lots of old fashioned features. The wall tiles on the staircase were beautiful.

The kitchen closed a bit early for our liking! The wine list didn't impress.

The hot water tap never worked water pressure poor . bfast was a bit slow despite only us there and the toast was hardly toasted and put on same plate as fry up. Needs side plates. The pub has half a dozen tvs so popular with sports fans so we chose to eat and drink in one of the other nice pubs.

Central location with parking. Lovely welcome from the ozzy guy on reception. Got in early to a lovely big room ( room 2) had everything needed including a dyson fan coffee maker hairdryer and superking bed.

Even though we had been told some rooms were being refurbished the room smelt damp and the bath drain smelt unpleasant and slow to drain.

The room was dark and very hot. The fan helped but for some reason the room was much hotter than the corridor outside.

I have stayed at the Cross Keys a number of times and on each occasion the welcome is friendly and the room clean and well equipped.

There was nothing we didnt like but would have possibly liked access to a fridge either in room or communal area ......it was hot weather so room was warm but we did have a Dyson fan to help ...Postcode for car park was confusing as the one we put in satnav sent us to a different one ...but it was all sorted when we checked in .

The outside area was a little neglected with weeds everywhere, which let it down a bit.We would have given this hotel a better score as most of the staff were really nice and friendly apart from one young barman on the Thursday night which at best could be described as rude. For this reason we will not stay here again.

We had one of the outside rooms, which was lovely.Good standard of fixtures and fittings, the room looked fresh. Lovely breakfast served by a friendly member of staff.

My room was a little small but it is a pub hotel. The only thing that i didn’t really like was getting across to the other side of the room meant i had to climb over the bed.

They made an immaculate vegan breakfast for me. Top notch. And the actual room was so clean and the staff were super lovely.

Just the signage to get into the carpark but it's not even really an issue, found it after I'd gone down the wrong road.

I thought the room was a really good size for two people. The gent on the front desk was very friendly and helpful when we had a small issue with the key getting in the room. Sorted while we ate breakfast!
