Positive section of review
Very good hotel in the heart of the old town. The hotel used to be a family home and a tea business and is still managed by the same family, which gives it a very personal touch. You can still buy tea there or enjoy sharing a cup or two and chat with the family. Our room was quiet, spacious, clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. If we are back to Lijang we would definitely stay here again!

- The location is superb, close to the shopping mall and convenience store, close to Metro station and the old town. For moslem traveler, the hotel is very close to the oldest Mosque in Nanjing, Sanshanjie Mosque. - The staff is friendly and helpfull, even the cleaning staff is friendly though she doesnt speak English. - The room is comfort, the toilet and utilities are perfect.

The staff were really friendly. The room was great. I only speak English but the staff had special translators that helped when I needed to ask tourist questions. Close to central Beijing station where you can get a travel card.

The staff were helpful and friendly with my check-in. There is a large common area to charge your phones and use your laptops. My bed was comfy. Its close enough to the metro and within walking distance to the Bund.

There are no power outlets in your bed area, but they have 2 USB points to use. The internet is a bit slow, but that just might be the speed in China. My roommate was not considerate. She came in at midnight, was loud, and took a shower at 1230am. In the morning, she left her hair everywhere, on the floor, on the sink and even on the toilet.

The hotel was very clean. In the recception they could speak English. The hotel has shuttle bus but be carefull about arrangement.

As I informed I had to call the when we arrived to use shuttle bus but as a foreiner I didn´t have China SIM card and it was very hard to arrange. I missed lots of time. The breakfast was not international. It was according to the local taste. It was not bad but I expected to be more international. For late at night (about 9 PM) there was nothing to eat in the hotel.

Carpets on floor at the hotel. It is making rolling the suitcase kinda impossible and looks so old and dirty. Especially, the carpets are looking so dirty in the room. I was definitely not sure if it was cleaning well or not.
