We got an upgrade, which was nice. The room was clean. On arrival a driver picked us up at the ticket office (after some discussion).

The room interior was a little dated but still ok. The main problem with this stay and why I did this poor rating is the location of the hotel and the lack of interest in creating a good and effortless stay for the guests. The location is at the end of the village (5km or so from the ticket office). Only cars of villagers are allowed in the village. After checkout they refused to bring us with our luggage to the parking lot at the ticket office. It was also not possible to get a driver for cash. We had 2 big suitcases and 2 backpacks. We had to walk ~6 minutes up a hill to a shuttle stop. It was really hot and we had to wait more than 15 minutes there. As this shuttle stops like every 20m, it took 10 minutes to the entrance of the village. There we had to pull our luggage another 10 minutes up a hill in the burning sun to get to another shuttle stop. After another 10 min drive we finally arrived nearby the ticket entrance. 50 minutes from the hotel to a place where a non-villager car was allowed to pick us up. 50 minutes of our precious holiday time and we were wet from sweating so the rest of the day wasn't fun in such a condition. Thank you for nothing Creekside Inn. This was such a bad guest experience. Don't stay here, they don't care at all about their guests. Worst experience ever in China after ~80 nights here.

No shops, restaurants in the vicinity and we arrived after the dinner service had finished. Managed to find a very small convenience inside some staff accommodation behind the hotel.

While we checked in to the hotel, they didn't find our booking, we have provided the hardcopy of our reservation, and they took more than 30 minutes to resolve issues. The Bulter Manager offered us a bottle of wine and upgrades to a larger fruit basket for each room (3 rooms), but they only delivered to two of our rooms. We also experienced the broken lights, and the TV is not working . St Regis is famous for bulter service, but we didn't meet our overall expectations .

The place is very dirty. The kitchen appliances are very worn, non stick pan is digusting. Then the tv controller was spoilt. Towels were not enough for everyone. WiFi cannot be connected inside the bedroom. Didn’t even provide bath mat and the washrooms are very slippery.
