Golden temple is such a peaceful place and so beautiful done...
Golden temple is such a peaceful place and so beautiful done. One thing I had issue with was the lines. No single li e therefore you just get pushed with crowd. No regard to ladies or kids, get so squeezed can't even breathe. I had to exit myself out of the line as I couldn't take it anymore. Otherwise walking around was beautiful.

Avoid visiting on weekends and on national and local govt. holidays. Visit on weekdays, you will appreciate more. Best time to visit is early morning, really early morning as in 3 - 4 a.m. It may look daunting with the size of the crowd but it will be worth it.

Very accomodating staff, especially Kuldeep with his always happy smile. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the golden temple and in the heart of the market area. The rooms are spacious and clean with a comfortable mattress. Kettle was supplied on request and breakfast was good.

Hotel is close-by to the Golden Temple and the market. Love ji (owner) was very helpful with details about surrounding places and arranging for local transport and sighseeing. Helped me with car parking space opposite to the hotel. Location very good 😊

It is about 3km from the Golden Temple and that's where all the good things about the hotel end. I would rather choose some other hotel a bit further away but better service.

The staff at the breakfast area was courteous and food was decent.
room is comfortable, no noise from the street, a very good indian breakfast, dinner was good too, the pool area in the 6th floor was nice and we had a good view over amritsar. Our main goal was the golden temple of the sikhs, the hotel is 15 minutes by walk or 5 minutes by rikshaw.

We stayed for 3 nights and the final cost was Rs 7000/- including breakfast.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with good bathrooms, water pressure and hot water. AC works great in the Amritsar heat. The wifi is fast and reliable, something not commonly found in India. It's easy walking distance to the Golden Temple and other major sites. Some of the surrounding streets have lots of shops, and restaurants and are traffic free. The best part is the management. They are exceptionally helpful, even straightening out a booking at another hotel. I highly recommend staying in this hotel.
We stayed for 7 days, the first few nights in the "Apartment with garden view" and then in a "Deluxe double room". The apartment was accessed through the family home. The hotel was in a great location, on a quiet back street 5mins walk from the Golden Temple. Both rooms were well equipped with large (if rather firm) beds, somewhere to sit, good wifi. They arranged pick-up from the train station and laundry (both for a charge). Also arranged a reasonably priced taxi for the border closing ceremony and our departure.
