It was magical- it truly felt like we were in a castle- the interior and exterior were beautiful…. To top it off we even got upgraded on arrival a true treat! The bar staff were so gracious with their time and even got us a much needed glass of milk!

There was an incident in the breakfast room between staff members. A particularly rude man who seemed to be kitchen staff, was ver rude to another female staff it was very unpleasant and ruined the relaxed stay we had planned for.

Room was a nice size and comfortable. Bar/restaurants were nice and food was excellent. Staff was always nice and helpful, especially Brian, the concierge - super attentive, always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The property grounds were beautiful, from what we could see (stormy/rainy for our entire 1-night stay).

Very clean and comfortable stay. Friendly accommodating hosts and nice garden area to sit out in. Very good location to walk over to Malahide Castle and gardens for concerts and for eating out in the village.
It was close to Malahide Castle for a concert! They host had drinks and snacks sitting out for guests to enjoy before the concert which was really sweet!
The location was perfect as we were going to a concert in Malahide Castle. It was great to see on our return to the hotel that there were 2 security guards on the door checking if we were residents.
It was also sooo nice to be able to just chill in the residence bar and not have to deal with rowdy crowds.
Also, I had mentioned that it was birthday just to see if it was possible to get an early check in.... I was surprised when a plate of chocolates were left in our room with a lovely card wishing me a happy birthday. It was a lovely gesture.
Lovely, comfortable ( great bed) all things catered for. Loved it. I will return. R was a great host. Thank you. I have told everyone! Short walk to Malahide centre and the Dart Malahide Castle beautiful and Avoca scones 😋😋
