It's near Merrion Square so it's within walking distance of most things, but definitely off the main tourist track. The rooms are bright and comfortable. One of the best things about the Leinster, though, is the Jean Georges restaurant on the roof. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is great and the vibe is friendly and not stuffy at all. I would definitely stay here again! ((And I would have rated it Exceptional (instead of Wonderful) if a few minor issues had been worked out.))

My recent stay at Powerscourt Hotel was elevated to new heights, thanks to a truly heartwarming and thoughtful gesture from the manager. Celebrating my birthday during this luxurious retreat was made even more special by the unique touch of personalised attention.
Upon returning to my room after a day of exploring the grounds, I was met with a delightful surprise—a beautifully adorned table featuring a small, delicious birthday cake. It was a delightful treat, and the accompanying birthday card added a warm, personal touch that left a lasting impression.

Location excellent .very near the Main Street . the transport available if you wished to sightsee was excellent. Could not fault any staff , cleaners, bar staff and 5 stars for reception staff who were very helpful especially the young blonde girl ( wish I got ) her name. Very impressed with the security for the hotel. ( cards needed for elevators and other areas) .
This was perfect for the early ferry the next morning. The room was well decorated and spacious. We had done a lot of driving so we needed a good sleep - the beds were very comfy and we had a great sleep which set us up for further travelling. We felt pampered. The staff were welcoming and informative. Prior to our arrival we had dinner at the nearby Kilrane Inn - the food was excellent as usual and the staff were friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend Tuskar House and the Kilrane Inn - 5 stars
Mr Robert and mr Felix are very good and we give them 5 stars
This is our 2nd time staying in Kilmainham. We brought our little dog again and as always we all felt very warmly welcomed by the lovely helpful staff. The room was spotless, so comfortable, loads of tv channels, (important with 2 teens), the bathroom had a shower and a bath with another shower, again spotless. Safe, discounted parking. Delicious breakfast with a massive choice and lovely staff. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough, would stay here every time I come to Dublin! 5 stars!
