Forgot something really important in my room after checking out and the house cleaning staff took great care of it and had it returned to me. Thank you!

Manager/owner couldn’t have been nicer. Friendly warm and welcoming. Helped us with our bags, show up to our rooms. Offered us additional accommodation at no cost when our flight was delayed 10/10
Carefully restored to retain the character of the original Roganstown House, this is a magnificent Georgian house on the 300-acre Roganstown Estate. It boasts an AA Rosette award-winning restaurant.

Having family here is the main reason for coming to swords, however it’s a lovely place with so much going on. From swords castle to the pavilion, if you fancy abit of shopping and not far from the beaches. It’s so close to the airport which makes it very convenient when you can be at your end destination in left than 40 minutes after landing. If you want to go into the city centre, hopping onto a bus is very simple.

Not for the faint of heart.
Not for the faint of heart. This property ranks at the top of the scale. Immaculate and beautifully appointed in every way. We had the deluxe king room. There is a shared kitchen with private fridges for each guest room loaded with enough food and snacks for a great breakfast. Gillian and Paschal are super hosts.

Where I stayed at in Swords was right across from the Swords pavilion, which was a very large mall that had different restaurants so it met my needs perfectly. I did not walk or ride around Swords. I basically spent more time in Dublin City. But what I did see of Swords, I would definitely recommend that it’s like a nice little cozy town.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Swords
Old Borough is near the Dublin airport, and a village to see outside the city of Dublin. I liked the walk on streets and the history of the place and the Old Borough. It is the combination of a pub and a hotel with limited accommodation; our room was very quiet and good for one night. It was easy to take a taxi to the airport early in the morning. The staff we met were very helpful.
A curiosity: there was one window in the room and it was in the ceiling!
Right in the city center of Swords, which offers restaurants, shops and nice places to eat breakfast. From Swords, you can take a bus that takes you in Dublin in approx. 45 minutes. Airport 15 min away by car. The rooms are on the second floor of a nice pub, as it is the case in many hotels in Ireland.
The room was lovely and spacious very clean. The beds super comfy. I suffer from back problems but I slept through. Its the best hotel I have stayed in near Dublin Airport.
